Mind Mapping

Mind mapping, which is introduced by Tony Buzan, is defined as an expression of Radiant Thinking and is consequently a natural function of the human mind. It is a powerful graphic technique, which gives a universal key to unlocking the potential of one’s brain. The Mind Map can be applied to all kinds of aspect of life where improved learning and clearer thinking will definitely enhance human
performance.

There are two methods of creative thinking, which are logical, and associated mind map technique.Logical mind map is connected to stereotypes. It consists of only stereotype words; meaning, every word or image that is put within the mind map is related to the central subject through its links.Associated Mind map, we, on the other side, can prompt unplanned words and also show the links between words that have no connection.

Stereotype is defined as a conventional, formulaic and oversimplified conception, opinion or image.Stereotyped, stereotyping or stereotypes signify as ; to make a stereotype of. To characterize by a stereotype. To give a fixed, unvarying form to.

There are a few rules of logical mind mapping. Firstly, it’s compulsory for us to put the subject in the center of the page. Secondly, we should make the subject more dominant than the rest of the words and images in the mind map. Also, we should know what to decide on the main categories of the
subject before executing on mind map. We should also have the different categories in different colors just to make it easier to be identified. Other, we should use drawings or images to make the mind map more engrossing and personal. More, the ideal mind map should be shaped like the roots of a tree, branching out from a center. It is acceptable to repeat words or even interlink certain words. Also, it is vital for us to ensure that the mind map is neat and easily readable.

Apparently, there are benefits of Logical mind –mapping technique. First and foremost, it is the most concise way of listing and categorizing a bunch of information. Also, it is easier for one to see the relationship between each word and in a way, helps trigger memories and reduce the amount of
note taking and no doubt, will make one’s understanding for the subject even better. More, if the mind map is interesting, there are greater chances that looker will have in the information. The usage of images along with words will create interest for the mind map and is useful in triggering a memory of the subject.

Creative is what we use to create and invent a lot of stuff. In fact, we are all creative every day because we are constantly changing the ideas which we hold about the world about us. Creativity does not have to be about developing something new to the world, it is more to do with developing something new to ourselves. When we change ourselves, the world changes with us, both in the way that the world is affected by our changed actions and in the changed way that we experience the world.
